    February's Product of the Month

Today's post is more than just another product review. There are a million of those out there. This new series that I will be publishing once a month is a series intended to give my favorite product recommendations for a mom who lives traditionally in a modern world. I appreciate efficient, affordable, lasting products that enhance the home environment and aid me in my work to raise intelligent, virtuous children and create a beautiful home. As a wife and mother who desires to uphold an atmosphere of peace, joy and learning, I love finding pieces that make this possible.

Without further ado, this month's product is a CD Player. It's a bit old-school, but I do not allow my children to have unsupervised access to the iPad, and I wanted them to be able to have music whenever they wanted, so I became a CD-owning person again.

Note: As a general rule, I try to avoid purchasing off Amazon, but as many of you know, that can be a bit pricey or difficult. Here is the link to the one we own: https://www.amazon.com/Gueray-Portable-Bluetooth-Desktop-Speakers/dp/B0B3R6YW2J

I have owned many CD players and this one is great for several reasons. First, it is compact and easy to use, and my older children have no problem using it. Second, the sound is great. I was a little concerned about the sound with such a small CD player, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sound quality even surpasses that of an expensive Bose CD player we had just before this one. Lastly, this CD player was at a great price! I am living in the time of life with lots of little people running around, and with an occasional ball being thrown across the room, I did not want to put a lot of money into an electronic that may only live a week. 😉

On a final note, I wanted to leave you with three wonderful CD recommendations.

    1. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker by Simon Rattle/Berliner Philharmoniker

    2. Redemption by Eric Genius

    3. Islands Essential Einaudi by Ludovico Einaudi
