My Mother’s Handbook welcomes and encourages comments on our blog posts as a way to foster healthy discussion and build community. Women are gatherers by nature and MMH is a platform by which women are able to gather information that, hopefully, edifies their home and family life. 

 However, to ensure a positive and respectful environment, we reserve the right to edit or delete any comments and/or block users who violate our community guidelines. Our community guidelines are the following: 

 

1. Be kind and considerate and keep conversations lighthearted.

2. Try to stay on topic and focus on positive conversation.

3. Respect boundaries: do not ask overly personal or intrusive questions, and respect if someone does not want to share details. 

4. Avoid assumptions: do not make assumptions about others' experiences or opinions.

5. Be patient with others and be authentic and true to yourself. 

6. Avoid argumentative tone: focus on conversation and understanding, rather than debate. 

7. Be mindful of time: keep messages concise and to the point. 

8. Bullying, targeting, or attacking a member of this group is not allowed and will not be tolerated.

9. No selling to or spamming other members is allowed in this group. Additionally, the posting of illegal content is forbidden. Anyone who breaks this rule will be subject to immediate removal.

10. When sharing other people’s posts, images and other content, do not infringe on their copyright or claim other people’s materials as your own.

​11. Posting any content that is sexual in nature is prohibited, anyone who does so will be immediately banned from the website.
