    Summertime Sweet Tea

    Updated: Mar 23

It's summertime. It's hot and you need a healthy, delicious iced tea! This recipe is one that a friend's mother used to make during our summertime visits. It continues to be a family favorite!

    Ready in 10ish minutes

    Serves 6-8 people

    Ingredients

    • 4 bags of raspberry tea

    • 4 bags of peach tea

    • 1/3-1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup

    • Optional: Add 2-3 bags of green tea if a little caffeine is desired.

    Preparation

    1. Boil 2 cups of water. Add the tea and sweetener to a half-gallon jar.

    2. Pour the water into the jar and steep the tea for ten minutes, stirring occasionally to melt the sweetener.

    3. Finally, add ice and fill up the rest of the jar with water.

    4. Enjoy!

    Tips

    1. Any type of berry tea is a good substitution for the raspberry tea.

    2. Adding several mint leaves for a hint of mint is delicious as well!
