    Aloe Vera and Pascalite Clay

    Updated: Sep 9, 2025

Every family has their "go-to" remedies. Aloe vera and pascalite clay were the two "go-to" remedies for my mother. While we struggled to keep aloe vera plants alive, my grandfather, who grew a ginormous aloe plant, watering it only with his leftover black coffee, used to supply us with large leaves.

As simple as these two things seem to be, you will be amazed at what we used them for and the ailments they actually cured! You will find the list below:

    Aloe Vera

    • Has healed many skin ailments, such as cuts, rashes, punctures, abrasions, burns, sunburns, acne, and dryness of the skin, and at times even has had an effect at minimizing scar tissue.

    • Has healed pink eye—mix some of the aloe vera juice with purified water and pour little amounts into the affected eye.

    Pascalite Clay

    • Mineralizes and strengthens teeth when applied after brushing

    • Has healed skin irritations and rashes, including diaper rashes

    • Has helped to soothe and heal insect bites

    • When mixed with water, it has removed styes.

      • Mix 1/4 cup water with 1/4 tsp of pascalite clay and drop into the eye before bed.

    • Can be used as a deodorant, but you have to take care not to let it dry out the skin.

    • At times, pascalite even healed the infection of minor wounds.

As you can see, these two natural healing remedies are pretty awesome; at least, they have been for us. I believe it is worth having them in the home and as a part of your medicine cabinet!
