Kid Clothing Gems

When I buy shoes for my children, I like to look for shoes that are affordable, good for their feet and durable. ALL of these shoes have lasted me through several kids. I also appreciate shoes that my children can put on themselves and the rain boots, the slippers and water shoes are all great for this!
Water Shoes (these are my kids' tennis shoe and I LOVE them!)
(throw some Wool Socks and Liners in and they make a great winter boot too!)
Plush Slippers (because cozy is important!)

I have mentioned before that durability is very important to me when it comes to buying clothing items for my children. In case the reason is not obvious, children tend to be extremely rough on their clothes, especially my children, who are outdoors quite often. I really like this selection of jogger pants; they have held up really nicely for my children and they are easy for my kids to get them on.

Due to the fact that we are outside all the time, I needed to find clothing items that supported my kids in these elements. Every summer I ensure that each child has his or her own sun hat and sun shirt. The sun hats are super cute and, having purchase several different colors, I can say that they are great colors! It is also nice when we are at a park and I can easily spot all my children when they are wearing their hats. These sun shirts are great! For being such a light material, they are surprisingly durable.

I love puffer jackets and so do my children! The thing that I love most is that they are light enough that my children use them from early fall to late spring and yet, they also keep them warm enough in the dead of winter.
We live in zone 5 and get a variety of extreme weather and these jackets have become my favorite. Of all the many puffers we have owned Eddie Bauer seems to me to put out the best!
I like to buy cotton clothing for my children whenever possible. They prefer that material, plus it is a healthier option for their skin. If I cannot find them at a local store (I have found them at my local Kohls before), then I will grab them online. My boys especially seem to love these pajamas; they are cozy and breathable, yet they keep them warm in the winter too!
