Health & Household
#1 Toddler Stuff
Here are some of my favorites buys if you have a toddler in the home. I like to adjust the home and allow my little ones to be able to help themselves as much as possible.
Toddler Step Stool - This step stool is great! I have one for my upstairs bathroom and one for the basement bathroom. I like that it does not slide at all and is very sturdy. The stools have held up for many years and clean very well. Also, my two-year-old is able to carry it around easily when he needs to use it.
Toddler Potty Seat - This is a classic potty training seat. It can also double as a stool! I have potty-trained three kids on this potty, and I am currently working on the fourth. It is a great option and I would definitely recommend it.
Toddler Stool - This stool I bought for my older kids to help me in the kitchen. It is a bit heavy, but my older kids are able to move it around with no issue. It was pretty simple to assemble, and I love that I am also able to use it too!
Helper Tower - I owned this helper tower with my first two kids. They loved it, and I loved that they could get up to my level and stay busy while I finished my kitchen work. As I had more kids, this was no longer a great option for us because everyone always wanted in at once. I would also not recommend this product if you have a small kitchen; it is a pretty bulky product. However, it is well-built and if you are looking for something like it, this is definitely a great brand!
#2 Bedding
I have to tell you about these next two products because of my obsession with all things cozy! These sheets are so incredible! The are especially perfect for those really hot summers; we sleep so well with these sheets. We have had them for two years and they have held up super well, a really great quality and they feel just like butter!
Our Purple Mattress we have owned for seven years and it still feels brand new! My husband, who has some back issues, sleeps very well on it. It is not fun to move around though, definitely the heaviest mattress to my knowledge.
#3 Kitchen
Kids and dishes - the struggle is real. Trying to find functional, durable, affordable dishes has been a roller coaster of mine. Here is what I use currently:
Kids Water Bottle - Kids Silverware
Kids Stainless Plates - Kids Stainless Bowls
The water bottles are great! Each one of my kids has a different color and they love them! I do not typically use a lot of cups throughout the day, all of us just use our water bottles. I love this system because it eliminates having to do lots of dishes, and my kids stay better hydrated! As far as the dishes and silverware, I wanted to use this material because of all the studies that show how awful plastic is for a person's health; I also wanted to minimize the chance of dishes being broken. These have been awesome purchases!
An honorable mention: This water bottle is THE BEST WATER BOTTLE! Obviously, I am a water bottle person, which means I have gone through many in my life. I can tell you that from here on out I will probably always own an Owala water bottle. They are easy to clean, fun to hold and drink out of, and I also really like their color options.
#4 Furniture & Decor
I bought this rug for my first child to have something really soft for the nursery floor. My little girl loved it so much! It is a soft, well-made item that still lies in her room today, seven years later, looking brand new.
Toy rotation and organization is big in my house. I like to keep an ordered home and I have found that kids like it too, they just have to be taught. Guidecraft is an awesome brand that makes durable products, and I have not been disappointed yet! Wooden Toy Cabinet
Their product for dress-up storage is great too! It is pretty easy to assemble and can be used for dress-up clothes or for organizing regular clothes in a toddler's room. Dress Up Storage
Health is a big deal in our home. I am always thinking of ways to create an environment to expose my kids to beautiful, good and healthy things. I love essential oils! I have used Young Living for twenty years, with a few favorites from doTERRA as well. Having an essential oil diffuser is a must-have for me and I love this particular one. It is lovely, easy to clean, and it has been running strong for five years! ...probably time to get another!😉
This table was gifted to us by the kids' great-grandparents four years ago. It is a great outdoor table! From eating lunch to playing Play-Doh, my kids have used this table for countless activities. It has also been left outdoors in rain and snow and is still going strong!
