    The Business of Breastfeeding

    Are you ready to share your body for six months, nine months, a year, or however long you choose to breastfeed? Sometimes it can be a challenging thing, but there is no better choice for your baby! Breast milk is a perfect food for your new little one. It will provide incredible support for your baby's immune system, help provide antibodies for short-term illnesses, and it helps to bond the mama and baby, just to name a few incredible benefits. Breastfeeding can be a scary and intimidating task when you have your first baby. My mother had talked about how much she loved the breastfeeding experience, so I expected to like it too. I didn't. It was difficult and challenging, but I wanted to do what was best for my baby if I could. The tips and tricks she gave me helped me ease into it, and eventually, although I never "loved" nursing my baby, it was so satisfying to be able to give them the best!
