    Remedies for a Gassy Baby

    If you have lived through it, then you know what I am talking about. All of a sudden, your sweet, peaceful newborn begins to squirm. The squirms turn into whines, the whines to cries, and finally, the cries to screams. Your baby has gas. I remember the first time I dealt with this; my whole night was consumed with the screams of my baby. What had I previously eaten? Since I was breastfeeding, there was a high possibility that the gas was caused by something I ate, but I couldn't remember my last meal. My stress level was building and I had tried everything. Due to stress, I had not been thinking clearly and did not try to call my mom. So, my husband and I endured a good three and a half hours, giving each other frequent breaks, and then the baby stopped crying and fell into a deep sleep. It was over.
